What is the use of palm oil in ancient Israelite communities.
Palm oil is use in spiritual anointing and food that Yisraelite eats till this day. Palm butter, Palm oil used in cooking to skin care is used from generation to generations in the Palm oil is used in around the world from Africa to Asia mainly including North east Africa known today as Middle East. There are many posts about palm oil in religious books and especially the scriptures. Palm Tree that produces the palm date oil is associated with flourishing.

There are different types and kinds of Palm trees from Coconut Palm Trees to Palm Kernel /Date Palm Tree. Israel has palm trees but it is reportedly the most importer of Palm oil according to OEC World Webpage "In 2021, Israel imported $36.7M in Palm Oil, becoming the 95th largest importer of Palm Oil in the world. At the same year, Palm Oil was the 355th most imported product in Israel. Israel imports Palm Oil primarily from: Singapore ($22.2M), Indonesia ($14M)". Israel also exports Palm Oil a lot also as the article said"In 2021, Israel exported $72.9k in Palm Oil, making it the 109th largest exporter of Palm Oil in the world. At the same year, Palm Oil was the 974th most exported product in Israel. The main destination of Palm Oil exports from Israel are: United States ($70.2k), Hungary ($2.53k), Guatemala ($97), Denmark ($22), and Czechia ($14)".

Facts: The Palm tree is mentioned more than I could take time to count in the scriptures numerous times. During my research it is also stated the temple Shelomoh built had palm trees also engraved in it. Palm tree is also a date fruit known as the scientific term Phoenix Dactylifera. Palm tree is seen as fruitfulness amongst our people. Tehillim (Psalm 92:22) reinforces that about flourishing like the palm tree. Thus in coronation few amongst the scattered kingdom use palm oil in the ceremony. Some tribes use palm wine in the traditional marriage ceremony. This our culture palm wine was known as sweet wine on your scripture and then we had wine from grapes.

Palm oil is used Ceremoniously in Tu Bishvatthe 15th day if the New Year that us a biblical command and according to Jerusalem Prayer Team “Our word today is the seventh and the last of the Seven Species, ‘ta•mar,’ date. The word that is used in Deuteronomy 8:8 may be somewhat misleading. The English translation says ‘honey,’ which is ‘d’vash’ in Hebrew. ‘D’vash has two meanings in Hebrew − honey and dates mesh. Tamar in Hebrew is the word for Palm thus Palm oil is called palm date oil. Now this is signifying that Deuteronomy 8:8 was not to be translated as olive oil but Palm oil? Let's see what's Deuteronomy 8:8 says,
“A land of wheat, and barley, and vines, and fig trees, and pomegranates; a land of olive oil, and honey”. The article went on further to say
”Tamar is both the name of the fruit and the tree. It is a metaphor for a righteous man, and it became a Hebrew idiom:”
We can see that Palm oil is a scriptural command if transliterated well enough.
There are many uses for palm oil and honey as medicinal purposes also spiritual in Africa.
