Ancient Egyptians Cake Ingredients

Ancient Egyptians Cake ingredient is as follows as listed below:



Ingredients:


- 2 cups all-purpose flour

- 1 teaspoon baking powder

- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

- 1/2 teaspoon salt

- 1/2 cup butter, softened

- 1 cup sugar

- 2 eggs

- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

- 1/2 cup buttermilk

- 1/2 cup honey

- 1/2 cup chopped dates

- 1/2 cup chopped figs

- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

- 1/2 cup chopped almonds

- 1/2 cup raisins

- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

- 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom


Instructions:


1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.


2. In a medium bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.


3. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.


4. Gradually beat in the dry ingredients alternately with the buttermilk.


5. Stir in the honey, dates, figs, walnuts, almonds, raisins, cinnamon, nutmeg and cardamom.


6. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

2. Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.

3. In a medium bowl, whisk together 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon baking powder, and 1/2 teaspoon salt.

4. In a separate bowl, cream together 1/2 cup butter and 1 cup sugar until light and fluffy.

5. Beat in 2 eggs, one at a time.

6. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla extract and 1/2 cup milk.


7. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.


8. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.


9. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.


10. Allow the cake to cool completely before frosting.


11. To make the frosting, beat together 1/2 cup butter, 2 cups powdered sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, and 2 tablespoons milk until light and fluffy.


12. Spread the frosting over the cooled cake.


13. Decorate the cake with edible gold stars and hieroglyphics to represent Ancient Egypt.
